Daniel Futa Served As Student Body President

Posted by admin

Daniel Futa may live in Southern California and go to college—but he is not a hacky-sacking hippie slacker as the stereotype says he should be. Futa is not a lackadaisical or lazy student by any stretch of the imagination. On the contrary, he is quite driven as a student and as a young professional. He recently graduated from the University of Southern California where he received two Bachelor’s degrees in History and Political Science from the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences, in May of 2010.

Daniel Futa is, as his majors suggest, is interested in the fields of history and politics. However, you shouldn’t assume Futa was a book worm in college, either, he was the Vice President of his fraternity, Zeta Beta Tau. In that position, Futa was in charge of the scheduling, programming, and day-to-day operations for Zeta Beta Tau. Being selected as Vice-President is an honor in the fraternity, but it comes with responsibilities, it also makes you the second ranking member on the Executive Board.

Daniel Futa is also a graduate of Colorado Academy. He served as Student Body President before graduating in June of 2006. He later took on an internship at CitiGroup – Smith Barney, located in Los Angeles, California. He was responsible for interacting with, and helping, high net worth clients in this position.
